What is the Dead Sea?

The dead sea has many names that describe the many things that are so special about it. This is the saltiest lake in the world and people like to visit there mainly to relax and kick back.

Being the lowest point in the world, the Dead Sea water does not drain form its lake, in addition, There are 7 million tons of water that evaporate daily but all the minerals remain which causes the salt content to increase.

There is no sea or ocean you can float around in except the Dead Sea. That is one of the best things about the Dead Sea.

People don't really swim in the Dead Sea, they usually just go there to relax and stay afloat. The important thing is to try and avoid getting water into your eyes because with so much salt in it, it will definitely sting.

The sad story of the Dead Sea is that its receding very fast. The main reason for the slow disappearance of the Dead Sea is the diversion of incoming water. In fact some scientists believe that by the year 2050 the Dead Sea will be gone.

The Dead Sea is known for many things like the fact that you can float and also its unique characteristics that makes the Dead Sea what it is.

The minerals and salts only found in the Dead Sea are been used to heal and improve many skin ailments like eczema and psoriasis. The water contains 21 minerals and 12 of them can not be found in any other sea or ocean.

The Dead Sea salts are excellent for our skin and the Dead Sea mud are filled with nourishing ingredients that improve the skin's appearance.
