New article feature you requested...

Hello everyone,

I imagine most everyone is bustling about getting ready for the holidays.
We hope the year has been good to you.

The reason for this email is just a quick note passed on to us by the MAX
article writing team about a new feature that many of you had been
requesting.

Please click on this link so you can see a screenshot posted on the blog:
http://www.uniquearticlewizard.com/blog/

This feature is a third keyphrase box when ordering articles with resource
boxes. It allows you to specify your a different keyphrase for your
article apart from your targeted resource box keyphrases, if you so choose.

Therefore, for example, you can specify your article keyphrase to discuss
'Toyota Tundra trucks' in general, but then have the keyphrases in the
resource boxes point to 'Seattle Toyota Trucks' and Seattle Toyota
Dealers'.

If your main keyphrase for your article and one or both of your resource
boxes keyphrases are the same, that is fine as well.

I know that the MAX team has been listening to your suggestions and taking
them very seriously and will be implementing more requested features in the
near future. If you haven't had a chance to check out the MAX article
writing service, take a look here http://www.myarticleexpress.com -
accounts are FREE!

Here's the link again to the new feature screenshot:

Have a fantastic day,
Noel and the UAW Team

[UAW] We swamped MAX...

Hey Wizard Members,

Couple of things we wanted to let you know about.

1. The MAX article writing integration has been a huge success,
however...

2. The sheer volume increase of orders coming from UAW users was
unexpected and has caused some slowdowns and delays...for this, the MAX
Team apologizes...they are working feverishly to catch up and in fact have
hired on 100 more writers to handle the volume.

3. Turnaround times seem to be varying between 2-10 days at present, so
please be patient as they get caught up.

4. And the last piece of information is that MAX is not UAW. It is a
separate service, managed by another company. So please don't send MAX
support tickets and requests through the UAW helpdesk as the response will
simply be to contact MAX Support at support@myarticleexpress.com or through
the support tab inside your MAX desktop.

Things will speed up as the new writers get acclimated. We have had a
bunch of great reviews come in on the integration and it will only get
better from here on out.

Wishing you all the best,

The UAW Team

[UAW] - The Best Advice...

Hi art ,

First off, we would like to thank you for your past and present support of
the Unique Article Wizard. We truly appreciate working with folks like
you. We have just uploaded the new 'Easy Wizards' to the system as well as
some other tweaks. If you haven't seen the new UAW, please check it out.
You won't be disappointed.

However, that is not the purpose of this email. No, it is to introduce
you to a fantastic motivator and teacher - Bob Proctor.

Most of you probably already know who Bob Proctor is from his starring
role in the hit movie 'The Secret'. His enlightened teachings have touched
the world. In fact, many of the folks in our organization have followed
Bob Proctor's teachings for many years now. And what a difference it has
made in our lives.

Well, a couple of months ago, Bob Proctor and his associates came out with
a fantastic program called 'Six Minutes to Success'. We not only learned
about this program because we subscribe to Bob's newsletter, but through
articles submitted through the Wizard. Because, you see, Bob's associates
have been members of UAW for many years now.
http://www.allegrettopublishing.com/sixminutes.php

We like what Bob teaches and have ourselves signed up for this program.
Matter of fact, it is the very first thing I listen to in the morning.
Nothing like starting the day off on the right foot. Bob will help you
discover your limiting beliefs. He will show you have to truly understand
the Law of Attraction to achieve and receive the goals and rewards you know
you deserve.

So, if you truly want to move your life forward - with your relationships,
professionally, spiritually or financially - this is one of the best
investments you can make. Period. Besides, they have a free trial period.
What have you got to lose but the limiting thoughts that are holding you
back from where you really want to be.

Go here now! http://www.allegrettopublishing.com/sixminutes.php

We wish you all the best in all that you do.

Your friends at UAW

art, meet for drinks next week? (personal)

Hi art,

Do you live in Florida? Want to meet up with me Saturday evening next
week?

I shall be down in Florida for 5 days next week and thought it would be
great to meet up with some of our UAW members and affiliates down there -
we can shoot the breeze about Article Marketing, Internet Marketing, or
anything else that might come up or that you want to ask me!

So, here is the plan:

I shall be in the restaurant with my girlfriend at the

Ramada Hollywood Beach Resort,
101 North Ocean Drive
Hollywood Blvd & Ocean Drive
Hollywood, FL 33019 US

at 6:30pm on Saturday, July 11th

We'll be eating and then moving to O'Malleys Ocean Pub (in the hotel) for
drinks. If you would like to join us you are welcome to come along!

Please would you reply to this email (this creates a ticket in the
helpdesk) and let me know if you expect to join me for that evening.

Now seeing as that you are probably expecting me to say 'And it will only
cost you $XX for this opportunity to pick my brain', I will alleviate those
fears as I am going to be in town looking at boats anyway. So there is no
charge for the 'workshop' - but if you felt so inclined to buy me a beer, I
probably wouldn't refuse. Who knows, I have done a lot of JV's over a
beer. You might be next.

I look forward to meeting you in person,

Best wishes,

Noel
P.S. There is a photo of me on the http://www.uniquearticlewizard.com home
page, in case you think you might not recognize me!

[UAW] - scheduled maintenance

Hi art,

Just a quick note to let you know that we will be doing some server
maintenance and upgrading on Monday, May 25th, at 10 am Pacific Daylight
Time ( 1pm Eastern Time). At that time we will have to close accesses to
the member's area. The work should take about half an hour, but there may
then be shorter interruptions or slow downs for the following two hours.

We do apologize for the inconvenience.

Best wishes,

Noel and the UAW team

[UAW] - Slow Submissions and New Terms of Service

Hi art,

It doesn't happen often, but today I am FUMING!

But since I always believe that good (for you of course!) can come out of
bad, please bear with me as I explain what's happening; why I am so mad;
the changes we made; and how it is going to be better for both the authors
and the directories.

Why am I so MAD? Mostly because the service you have been getting from us
over the past few days has been below par - and for that I am very
sorry...

Here's what has happened:

We are in the process of integrating the Wizard in with multiple
high-level marketing services as well as working on integration
partnerships with directory clubs and services to increase the distribution
base - your distribution base. That means more places to put your articles
- and more backlinks to your sites.

In order to do this, we needed to review our article submission and
approval process prior to moving forward.

Unfortunately right at the same time we got crushed by a handful of
spammers.

These spammers inundated our system to the point where the article editors
could not keep up on the approvals because they were getting hit up with
thousands of articles that needed to be declined. Some of them have been
uploading as many as 100 articles, all drivel, in one day!

Never in our history have we done mass declines or suspended or terminated
users accounts as we have done over the last five days. We always wanted
to work with our writers and gave them the benefit of the doubt in most
cases. But no more. People abusing the system or trying to put crap
through it will be thrown out because the only people getting punished
otherwise is the good people like you who submit good content and the
directories who accept that good content.

I am sure that you are not one of these people, art, but still, please
would you review the guidelines of submitting articles that we have
included below so that you don't have to deal with the inconvenience of
having your articles rejected.

Related to this, the system has also been slow at times and even
non-responsive. We are feverishly working to get the upgrades and new
servers online before the new directories and services come on board. At
times it was necessary to shut down some of the services in order to
process all the data. We apologize for any delays in service. We are
almost done, but there may yet be a couple of times that we do have to
briefly suspend some of the services. We appreciate your patience.

And lastly, some articles got submitted before being complete. For this
we apologize to both the authors and directory owners. An unfortunate side
effect we did not anticipate of cleaning the database. It appears to have
only affect 10 or so accounts, however if you notice that you articles you
had previously submitted say 'unfinished', we apologize. Just submit them
again.

Rest assured that we have every available person reviewing articles at the
moment and based on the count, we WILL have ALL your articles approved
today!

========================
SO WHAT'S THE GOOD NEWS?
========================

How these changes are going to be good for the authors (That means you,
art:

1. automated SPAM controls will identify spammers and halt their
submissions until we can investigate. This way your articles don't get
held up in the queue.

2. tighter editorial controls which will ensure that your articles are in
the correct format so that they are accepted by more directories

3. more directories coming on board - LOTs more! Hence the editorial
controls. We need to make sure they are getting good content so they stay
with us.

How this is going to be good for the directory owners:

- Everything as above. No spammers. Great content from great authors.
And a long, professional relationship.

Naturally by implementing tighter control processes and editorial
approvals, the quality of the articles is going to improve - along with the
approval and submission times. And this will make our current and future
directory owners very happy. And the better the article quality, the more
freedom we will have to publish to their sites, for they will know that we
are watching even closer now. So please ensure that you are following
these guidelines with your articles.

=======================================================
READ THIS TO MAKE SURE YOUR ARTICLES DON'T GET DECLINED
=======================================================

1. Title should be succinct and captivating. They should also be in
traditionally accepted format with the first letter of each word
capitalized. eg. This Is The Way A Title Should Be Written

2. Author names should be in traditionally accepted format eg John Smith.
Do not use nicknames (user1234), business names or URL's. Your article
will be declined. Also ensure that the first letter of each name is
capitalized.

3. Ensure the article is full of useful content. Give advise that people
would want to read - that you would want to read. Do not put up an
advertisement disguised as an article. And do not SPAM. SPAM accounts
won't even get a warning, they will be terminated immediately.

4. Resource boxes and links. Resource boxes still need to be readable. Do
not keyword load your resource links if it is unreadable. Chances are the
directories are just going to delete your article and ultimately block your
submissions, so why chance it. And make sure the resource box links
pertain to the article's content. Don't write an article about automotive
maintenance and the link to a flower shop. The article will not get
approved and just wastes everyone's time.

Also, make sure you test your own resource box links to make sure they
work. If they do not, the article will do nothing for you in terms of
backlinks.

5. Categories must be pertinent to the content. This is a HUGE issue with
the directories. Want the fastest way to get your articles deleted and
submissions blocked? Just put your article under the wrong categories.
This wastes the directory owners time and they are not real appreciative of
that.

6. Keywords - ensure that the keywords match the article content. If they
do not, the article will most likely be declined by our editors. And if it
happens to slip by, your article won't get indexed in the right spot and
the directory's keyword matching software will kick it out and it won't get
published. You've just wasted your time.

================
COMMON SENSE?
================

I realize most of this is common sense but after going through 3000
articles over the last few days myself, it appears that common sense isn't
quite so common after all.

Look at it this way: anything worth doing is worth doing well. And the
better your content is and the more your article conforms to traditionally
accepted norms, the more it is going to get published and redistributed -
and the more backlinks you are going to get. So whether you outsource or
write your own articles, make sure they are something you would be proud to
attach your name to.

art, we appreciate having you onboard. We know your interest is in getting
the best possible promotion of your website - so you are in the right
place. I get very upset when a handful of idiots abuse the system in such a
way that it impacts on good people like you. So, rest assured, as a result
of all this, the Wizard will be even more powerful and effective that it
has been so far.

And that's the good news.

To your success, as always.

[UAW] - Plagiarism Warning!

Hello Wizard Members,

This is one of those unfortunate emails that we have to write every now
and again, but nonetheless an important one!

Over the last month we have had not one, but two cases of blatant
plagiarism affect our authors and of course, our publishers. Unfortunately
plagiarism is something that has been plaguing writers and publishers for a
long time and neither the Wizard, nor newspapers and magazines, are
immune.

So, as writers or commissioners of articles, it is your responsibility to
make sure the writers you hire are not just stealing articles and selling
them to you. Both cases of plagiarism in these cases were delivered by
Elance writers to the unsuspecting clients. Now that is not to say that it
is Elance's fault, as it is not. There are unscrupulous people in every
walk of life that are just out for the money. Just have a look at the
current state of the world's financial affairs at the moment.

In any case, if you are outsourcing your articles to be written - please,
please, please, check your articles for originality before posting them.
Ultimately the negative responses will land on you if you don't, as the
resource boxes have your name and are pointing to your URL.

There is duplicate content checking software available that can check your
article for plagiarism before you send it out. Or you can take one of the
more unique sentences in the article; enclose it in quotes (") and run a
search to see if there are any exact matches in Google. And if there are
you can check to see if the article is identical.

A little care taken here could save you a lot of headaches down the road.

Thanks for your help.

Noel and the UAW Support Team

PS - We are currently doing some testing with an independent article
writing service and are getting fantastic results - both in terms of
quality; originality and timely turnaround. Just a few more days and we

[UAW] - hyperlink builder released

Hi art,

Just a quick note to let you know that we just added global access to the
hyperlink builder. This means that, wherever you are in the Wizard, you can
get immediate access to both the TinyURL and Hyperlink builders just by
going to:

BONUSES/TOOLS -> Hyperlink Builder

This launches a pop over with the two builders in it.

This just makes it easier to add links to the body of your article or your
resource box whether you are in the one-step or step-by-step wizard.

Just trying to make things ever easier!

To your success,

Noel

P.S. Don't forget, we still have the Video Contest and Affiliate Promo
Extravaganza going on. It is not too late to earn yourself some big
commissions and prizes. In case you haven't checked it out yet, full
details are here:

[UAW] - 75% of articles are making basic mistakes

Hi art,

Just a quick heads up that long-time Wizard Member Mark Thompson is
putting on an article marketing course as part of wordpress goldmine
starting TODAY:

http://www.uniquearticlewizard.com/recommends/wordpress_goldmine.php

Having just done a review of 100 random articles on Ezine Articles, Mark
found that 75 of them had basic errors that were preventing them from being
fully effective.

Translated, that means those articles were leaving money (ie lost profits)
on the table.

So, for all Wordpress Goldmine members, Mark has decided to put on a
course on Advanced Article Marketing.

I haven't seen the content yet, but I know Mark, and I know Wordpress
Goldmine. So I have no doubt at all that this will be well worth your time
and money.

If you don't already have Wordpress Goldmine, then now is the time to get
on board. Wordpress Goldmine is an EXCELLENT blueprint on how to set up and
promote a blog so as to be earning money almost instantly.

Go over now, grab the book, and benefit from the course.
http://www.uniquearticlewizard.com/recommends/wordpress_goldmine.php

But hurry, or you will miss it! It starts TODAY.

Best wishes,

Noel

[UAW] - the simplest way to add video to your marketing

Hi art,

Here is a simple way to add the power of video to your article marketing
strategy:

1. Write an article (or get one written for you)

2. Convert that article into a power point presentation. Make sure that
you use LARGE letters - remember your video will be sized as only 320 x 240
px - that is SMALL - so make sure your writing is visible at that size.
Make sure that you show your URL at the end, and give a compelling reason
for viewers to go and visit your site.

3. Turn that powerpoint presentation into a video presentation (with voice
over). To do this you can use the free trial from Camtasia -
http://www.techsmith.com/download/camtasiatrial.asp

I recommend that you prepare a whole bunch of articles and power point
presentations before you download the free trial, and then you can get a
year's supply of videos done during your 30 days free trial! Record your
video as 640 x 480 size.

Alternatively you can do a 'talking head' video using your webcam - just
turn it on and read out your article! But do it in an animated an lively
manner :-)

4. Upload your video to YouTube and other sites using the free service
http://www.tubemogul.com/

5. Grab the embed code for your video from YouTube (or one of the other
sites) and insert it into the wizard.
http://www.uniquearticlewizard.com/members/umanagevideo.php

6. Write a compelling caption that includes your keywords as the anchor
tag for the link to your youtube video. You do this by including the tag
[link:your desired anchor text here] in your caption.

Why do you do this? This promotes your video within YouTube and in Google
search - so if people don't find your article or your site, they might
still find your video. Just another way to get noticed!

7. Put your article through the Wizard as normal - but this time you will
also embed your video into the article so that your video appears on
hundreds of destination blogs.

That's it - now you have added video to your article AND promoted your
video in YouTube.

Simple and Easy.

Of course, as ever, the more thought and effort you put into creating a
quality video, the better your results will be, so put on your thinking
cap!

And, while you are at it - why not also sign up for our viral video
contest? Full details over at:

http://www.uniquearticlewizard.com/blog/contest/media-upgrades-go-live.html

To your success, as ever,

Noel

[UAW] Affiliate Promotion reminder

Hello Wizard Members,

Well, with one full month of the Affiliate Promotion Extravaganza gone by,
what else can we say but - WOW!!! We have never had so many people come on
board in such a short period of time. Lots of you will be putting an
extra $1000, $2000, $3000 or more in your bank account each and every
month.

Is there more opportunity to be had? Of course there is. And it's YOUR
opportunity. Don't miss out on the chance to earn up to 100% COMMISSION!
Let your lists and groups know how great the Wizard is and you could be
just like one of our top promoting members and be earning yourself a
five-figure commission check. And that's not one time, but EVERY MONTH!!!

Even if you don't have the lists to become a super-affiliate, promote to
who you can throughout the year and bring a few people on each month and
make yourself a thousand dollars in commissions every month. And who
couldn't use an extra $1000 right now?

So we'll use this opportunity to remind you that if you haven't signed up
already, there is still time. You've still got almost two full months to

SMEs and SAP Contribution to Indian Market

By Howard Hayes

Small and medium sized (SME) enterprises are defined as organization with a turnover that is below certain special limits. The small organisation employs around 50 employees while the medium sized organizations have less than 250 workers. Entrepreneurs start with such set-ups and their supreme success rests on application of the proper technologies. Such organizations are switching their attention to (IT) information technology, as industries have realized that IT, in co ordination with right business strategy, plays a pivotal role behind the always maximizing progress of SME.

Entrepreneurs conceive that competition with MNCs can be a hurdle in the course of their development but experts opine that implementation of proper technology volunteering an integrated system is the key to improved business skill. Information Technology in business unit holds the standard commercial operation which needs to be upgraded periodically, else outmoded applications leads to severe selective information gap. The stored data in several positions is ordinarily not interconnected, leading to breakdowns in the business process and revenue loss.

Today, SAP (Systems Application Products in Data Processing) is the most favourite business vendor and it has successfully produced business management systems designed for SMEs. The rock currant is a thornless shrub of upright habit growing to a height of 1.5-2 m. The stems are reddish brown with bark that tends to peel; the buds are 'dark brown, ovate. The reddish flowers appear at the end of May, the red, slightly sour berries in drooping clusters ripen in August and the seeds are dispersed by birds.

The pinnate leaves, measuring about 20 cm, are a glossy dark green, turning shades of copper and bronze in winter. The yellow flowers, borne in clustered racemes, appear in April. The bluish berries containing 3-5 seeds ripen in August and are edible. They are also used in preserves and to colour wines.

It is sufficiently resistant to frost even in northern Germany, being damaged by spring frosts only if planted in sunny situations. It grows best in partial shade and does well even in drier situations. It is readily propagated by means of seeds or more usually by root suckers.

In the vicinity of housing developments and cemeteries it can he found growing semi-naturalized in hedgerows and woods. In parks it is planted as an evergreen ground cover and to form low evergreen hedges; it is also planted for game cover. The mountain currant is a thornless shrub of upright habit growing to a height of 1-2.5 in. The stems are yellow-brown with bark that tends to crack. The buds are longish ovate, pointed and coloured light brown. The flowers appear in May.

How To Make A Cheap Date A Memorable Date

By Jayde Johanssen

As a general rule, dating costs money. There are two costs associated with dating. There is the cost of meeting people (ie. to join the dating site) and there is the cost associated of getting to know people (ie. the dinner or movie ticket). This often puts people off dating. They just cannot afford it. As such, I have written this article to help you meet and date people, without spending any money at all.

The first thing you need to do is meet people. If you don't want to spend any money in this regard, you just need to go old fashioned. Say "Hi" to people you come across in every day life. Say hi to everyone. Get used to meeting new people in everyday life, saying hi and striking a conversation with them.

So when you get out of bed tomorrow, make a point of chatting to people you usually wouldn't have. Become a conversationalist. Just make it up as you go along. Talk to everyone though, don't be picky. If you talk to everyone, you'll have so much practise ice breaking and being a conversationalist that when you see someone you are interested in, it will be very easy to start up a conversation with them that is natural and free flowing. This will hopefully will lead into a follow up conversation at a future place in time.

There are so many situation in every day life that give you these opportunities. Some examples include: Sitting on the bus; having a coffee at a cafe; Shopping; Walking the dog; Posting a letter. Every moment you spend outside your front door is a moment that exposes you to the world of meeting people. So get out there and start saying "Hi".

Once you have met someone and have agreed to see them again, your options on where to take someone are virtually limitless. Most of the dates which cost money are "old hat" anyway, so often a cheaper alternative stands out and is much more successful. A great example of this was in the movie Josh Hartnett stared in, called 40 days and 40 nights. In this movie, he simply took a girl (the girl whose heart he ended up winning (played by Shannyn Sossamon)) on a bus ride. That was his idea of the perfect first date. If you haven't seen the movie, get a copy if for no other reason than to see how successful this date was.

So stop, think and be imaginative. It is sure to impress. Here are some ideas to get you thinking: If you are an expert at something (Ie. dancing, surfing, cooking) give your date a free lesson or experience. If you are not an expert, suggest you learn something together. (cooking is great in this regard) Hit your local council up for their local or community events. Go to the beach and have a sand castle building competition (try to lose this one :))

It is really easy to meet and date people without spending a cent. You have to spend something though, so spend some time and effort instead. Its sure to end in a successful time.

Discover Some Cool Diabetic Diet Tips

By James John

For a diabetic a diabetic diet is very important to managing their condition, and in some cases even working towards reversing it. If you're a diabetic then it's wise to cut the amount of fats and carbohydrates you consume.

Both types of diabetes can benefit from the diabetic diet. Type I, called juvenile diabetes, is often diagnosed in children while type II usually starts in adulthood and is more common. Type I diabetics suffer because their bodies don't produce insulin, while Type II diabetics suffer because their cells don't absorb insulin. It is type II diabetes that can be reduced by a diabetic diet, although type I also responds well to the diet.

In general the diabetic diet is geared towards attaining ideal body weight for controlling and managing diabetes. It's easy to calculate ideal body weight for men or women. In women add five pounds to 100 for every inch above five feet, and subtract five pounds from 100 for every inch under five feet. At 5'6" a woman's ideal body weight is 130. Men add 6 pounds to 106 for every inch over 5 feet tall. At 5'6" a man's ideal weight is 142 pounds.

Many people have different opinions on the perfect diabetic diet, however some general elements are in common. For type I diabetics, the ideal diet includes about 16 calories per pound. As an example, someone who weighs 170 pounds would eat 2720 calories daily. Type II diabetics eat about 1500 calories per day to lose weight, then differing amounts of calories to maintain ideal weight.

In a general a diabetic diet carbohydrate intake should be about 50% of the daily caloric intake. Some argue that less carbohydrates are better, but there are advantages to cutting down the fat. Sometimes this can be offset by substituting mono unsaturated fats and polyunsaturated fats in the place of saturated fats.

Definite E-business Solutions

By Rich Micheals

You may indeed be taken back by this article's title. Looking at the title, you might wonder what the e-business "problem" is, if I am offering a solution to it. Truthfully, I could have titled the article "Discovering how to effectively manage your e-business leads, affiliate programs, clients, payments, and emails. No doubt exits, however, that the latter is entirely too long.

Any internet marketer - which you may or may not be yet - has to have a "solution" for these tasks. You might as well take advantage of a service that bundles together the services you need in order to be successful.

If I included everything in the title that a good e-business needs to have, it would have read something like "More credit and payment options, prospect tracking, advanced email statistics, marketing campaign tracking options, advanced customer management tools, billing and recurring commission calculations, payment tools, affiliate tools, customization tools for your order forms, thank you pages, and an affiliate center. Very, very long!

As titles go, "The Ultimate e-business Solution" is accurate and short. What about you? In what can only be good news for e-business owners, there are plenty of businesses who will take care of these specific tasks for you, along with other ones.

Per day, a bundle service can cost you around $0.70. As your e-business begins to grow, it doesn't make sense to try to do it all yourself. It's far less sensible to hire several individuals to do what a single bundle service can provide for a reasonable price.

Why Is Phytessence Wakame So Good For Your Skin?

By Peter Albertonach

I'll bet you've never heard of Phytessence Wakame. But if you're interested in the best skin care you really ought to know about it. In fact if you're interested in the BEST skin care in the world you need to know about Phytessence Wakame. I'll show you why.

Strange sounding substance isn't it? Phytessence Wakame is actually a seaweed found around the coast of Japan. The Japanese have eaten Phytessence Wakame for hundreds of years, both dried and fresh.

And you may also know that Japanese women have some of the worlds best skin right into old age. Eating Phytessence Wakame has a lot to do with it.

Just why is it that Phytessence Wakame is so good for the skin, and works so well for the Japanese? What qualities does it have that make it one of the most important ingredients ever put into modern and effective skin care products?

Phytessence Wakame is full of all sorts of wonderful substances that are extremely good for your skin health. Most of the B group vitamins are there, which help so sooth skin inflammaiton. It is very rich in calcium having around 15 times more calcium than milk and it is high in many important vitamins and minerals.

And it is high in iron and potassium. All these nutrients help keep the skin hydrated. Keeping the moisture balance of the skin high aids skin health and also helps keep the skin younger looking.

But equally important, if not more so, is the ability of Phytessence Wakame to perform a particular function for us that is of enormous benefit to our overall skin health. It helps inhibit the effects of hyaluronidase.

What in the world is hyaluronidase I hear you say? (I have very good hearing.)

Hyaluronidase is an enzyme. It helps break down an acid in our skin called hyaluronic acid, and hyaluronic acid is very important to optimum skin health. It is the effects of hyaluronic acid that combine with the collagen and elastin in our skin to help maintain the smoothness and elasticity of the skin, so keeping it looking young.

So you want plenty of hyaluronic acid. So if hyaluronidase breaks it down you don't want too much hyaluronidase. And if Phytessence Wakame helps inhibit the effects of hyaluronidase then it is doing a world of good work for your skin. It's helping inhibit one of the main factors contributing to skin decline with age.

You won't find much Phytessence Wakame in modern well known brands of skin care products, most of which don't work very well anyway. You need to look a little harder to find it, it's only in the best skin care products money can buy. And at a price that is pretty competitive to what you're probably paying for your skin care products right now.

You won't find it in the big brand name anti aging products because Phytessence Wakame is expensive, and they spend most of their budget on TV advertising. But one small niche skincare company making the worlds best anti aging products does use Phytessence Wakame because they spend big on product quality, not TV advertising.

Electric Wind Power

By Peter L. Shaw

Wind is the affect of air in motion. Wind is caused when the sun shines and heats up the earth's surface unevenly. Because the earth's environment is made of different materials such as land and water, as well as the things that make up these surfaces like wood, metal, and glass, they absorb the sun's heat many different rates.

Daytime is when the air above the land heats up more quickly, and it heats the air over water more slowly. Warm air that is above the land expands and rises, and cooler air quickly comes in to fill the gaps, and this creates wind. In the evening, the winds reverse, because air cools more quickly over land than over water. This is why you have the differing temperatures of land near bodies of water.

Nowadays, we use the wind to create energy to produce electricity for homes, businesses or communities. Wind is an earth friendly renewable energy source; we know that as long as the sun shines on the earth the winds will continue to blow.

Just like the windmills, turbines also use blades to capture the wind and turn it into energy. If there is no wind, then the turbines will not turn, this means that you must have a back up source of energy. Turbines are more sophisticated than windmills and they can use even the slightest breeze to turn the blades.

Most turbines used today are the horizontal axis type. The horizontal axis turbines have blades that are made like airplane propellers. A horizontal wind machine will typically stand about as tall as a 20-story building and has three blades that can span as much as 200 feet across. The largest turbines in the world actually have blades that are longer than a football field. Wind Turbines are built to stand tall and wide to capture more wind effectively.

The blades on turbines typically are about 200 feet across, but can be as wide as a football field. These blades are made much like an airplane propeller, and can be made of fiberglass, or a lightweight metal or plastic. The towers or bases have to be wide and tall in order to efficiently harness the wind. This is a great power source for the world of today.

Critics of electric wind power point out that the windmills which are essential to power generation are extremely large and make a lot of noise. Ordinarily, they can only be used in rural areas, where the open spaces and elevated terrain essential for their use can be found. Because of these limitations, they are not usually practical for more densely populated areas.

By Jimmy Sweney

If you are applying for your first internship, then you're probably very excited about it. However, it is important that you know at least a little background of the company that you apply to. It is also necessary that together with your resume, you submit a cover letter with the right format.

People applying for job openings would only submit resumes without including cover letters. If you are one of them, then you also probably don't have an idea of its correct format. Failing to submit a cover letter will decrease your chances of getting hired because you did not provide enough information and lack marketing strategies for your self.

Cover letters are important because it gives an applicant an edge over the others. It gives the interviewers an overview about you and why you are the perfect candidate for the position. Take time and put effort in writing your letter and pay special attention to the correct format.

Begin with a draft that will serve as the backbone of your letter. Write all your acquired skills and talents that will be useful for you to accomplish your work. It is better to make your draft as early as possible so that you will also have a lot of time to review and edit it.

Keep in mind that your letter should not be over a page long. Clean your draft by removing extraneous information such as detailed family history or educational background beginning with your elementary years. However, do include an educational background with your most recent studies, or degrees earned. This is plus factor for you. Make your letter concise and not lengthy.

Remove unnecessary entries in your draft. Be sure to leave the important details such as your traits, skills, and abilities. You can also include your educational background especially if it is related to the job you are applying for.

It is advisable to include a request for interview to show that you are determined to get the position. However, do it in a courteous way and show your professionalism. Revising your letter every now and then is also helpful because in case you missed out some errors, you will be able to correct it at once.

Be careful with your grammar. Remember to check your spelling and your punctuation as well. To be able to make a good impression, it is necessary that your letter looks professional and not like as if you are writing to a friend. A cover letter with the correct format will be of great importance especially if you are really determined to work for the company where you submitted your application.

Using The COUNTIF Function in Microsoft Excel 2007

By Andrew Whiteman

The COUNTIF function enables us to count the number of cells in a given range which satisfy a condition. COUNTIFS does exactly the same. However, with COUNTIFS, we can specify multiple criteria. For instance, let's say we have a worksheet containing four columns: the date, the number of phone calls received, the number of complaints and the percentage of calls which were actually complaints.

We now want to create a report worksheet to calculate the number of days where the percentage of calls that were complaints is, firstly, under 5%; secondly, between five and 10% and, thirdly, over 10%.

To find those days where there were fewer than 5% or more than 10%, we can use COUNTIF function because we are dealing with a simple condition: less than 5% or greater than 10%. However, to find those days where there were between 5% and 10%, we will need to use multiple criteria; firstly, greater than or equal to five and, secondly, less than or equal to 10. For this reason, we will need the COUNTIFS function.

When creating formulas, it is always useful to give names to the ranges of cells are you are referencing. To allow Excel create the names for you automatically, select all of your data, including the column headings then, in the Formulas Tab of the Excel Ribbon, click on Create from Selection. Switch on the option "Create names from values in the Top Row" and click OK. Let's assume that the heading at the top of the fourth column (the one containing the percentage of calls which were actually complaints) is "Percentage", this would be the name that we would use in our COUNTIF formulas.

Having created our named ranges, we can switch to the report worksheet and click in the cell where we want to calculate the total number of days where less than 5% of our calls were complaints. Here we would enter our formula: =COUNTIF(Percentage,"<5"). Notice how, when using COUNTIF and COUNTIFS, the criteria are always surrounded by quotation marks.

In a similar way, to calculate the total number of days where more than 10% of our calls were complaints, we would use the formula =COUNTIF(Percentage,">10").

Finally, to return the total number of days where between 5 and 10% of our calls were complaints, we would use the formula =COUNTIFS(Percentage,">=5",Percentage,"<=10"). The COUNTIFS function enables you to repeat the two arguments used with the COUNTIF function (criteria range and criteria) up to 127 times. Thus, in our example, criteria_range1 is Percentage; criteria1 is ">=5"; criteria_range2 is also Percentage; and criteria2 is "<=10".

What is Chamomile?

By Adam Robert

Chervil is an annual herb growing up to 70 cm (2 ft 4 in). It is native to the Caucasus and western Asia and was used for seasoning food by the ancient Romans, who during their military campaigns introduced it to many European countries including the British Isles.

The flower heads, which have a spicy aroma and pleasant, slightly bitter taste, were originally used in the treatment of various diseases, including jaundice and diseases of the liver as well as migraine. Chamomile tea is a time- honoured tonic with a pleasant taste that aids digestion.

The parts used primarily for seasoning are the strongly aromatic and slightly bitter seeds (achenes), which are grown and harvested for this purpose in France, India and the USA. The aohenes, slightly reminiscent of the fruit of anise, are ground and combined with common salt for use as celery salt in seasoning foods. Some celery salts also include the ground root or foliage. Celery salt is used as seasoning for fish dishes, soups, vegetables and croquettes.

The leaves, too, may be used to flavour foods. They are cooked together with the .stalks and removed before the food is served. If they are stripped from the thick stalks the leaves can be readily dried.

All the present varieties of celery were obtained by breeding and selecting from the original form with tough, slender, branching stems growing wild in salty soils, particularly on the south-European coast of the Mediterranean.

If you do not have a garden chervil can be einilly grown in a pot or windowbox.

Paternity Testing: So The Pieces Fit Together

By Patricia Denny

Paternity testing is the method thats most often used to determine the biological relationship between a child and a man. This procedure has become so popular over the years that the ways that this popular form of dna testing is carried out has undergone some changes.

Paternity Test

Of course there is the paternity test before birth that is generally carried out by a medical doctor. This method, like the others that are used to obtain the same high quality results, can be carried out with the alleged fathers and childs samples. Having the mother provide a sample here is not mandatory.

Categories

As well, paternity testing is further divided into two more subcategories. At home paternity testing is done most often by people that are only curious and the results from these tests are generally not admissible in a court of law. The other version of the paternity test dna holds up in court but these tests are handled through an accredited facility.

No matter what kind of DNA testing that you choose, youll need to select the best place possible to have the tests carried out. Remember here that there are a few criteria that you need to look at and at the top of that list is diversity. Make sure you have a good look at the kinds of services that the place offers that youre considering.

Experts In The Field

Remember that its a general rule that the more things a dna testing facility can do , the better they generally are at everything they do. So if the site that youre looking at can handle paternity testing and at the same time Siblingship testing, that means that theyve diversified enough to call themselves experts in the field.

When youre looking for the best place that you can find when it comes to paternity testing, make sure that you get to the site that has all the angles covered and can also boast a great customer service department. You might find that its a great comfort to have a real person on the other end of the phone thats willing to help you with any or all of your paternity testing questions.

Maintenance Operations at Spokane Steel Foundry

By Justin Olesen, Maintenance Manager

When I took over the maintenance shop at Spokane Industries Steel Foundry Division in March of 2008 I knew it was going to be an experience that I couldn't begin to imagine. It was a blank slate. With support from great ownership and a good core management group we could do anything we set our mind to. This wasn't the first steel foundry that I have had an opportunity to help improve but I was hoping that we could be so effective that it might just be my last.

Spokane Industries Steel Foundry Divisions Maintenance Department is somewhat immature from an organizational stand point, but we have the fortitude and the tools in place to get from good to great in a timely fashion and in an orderly manor.

Spokane Industries Maintenance Department personnel are in a time of transition and change. And we all know how difficult that can be, especially with maintenance guys. I know because I am one.

We are starting our journey from reactive to proactive maintenance with a good base. eMaint Enterprises LLC furnishes our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) support and they do an excellent job. We have utilized their system to build a purchasing platform, relocate and catalog over 3800 part numbers, tracked all of our critical to success metrics, and we are even starting to benefit from mean time between failure data and work order history.

Using Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), the leadership of the department has started to turn preventative maintenance over to autonomous exercises, allowing specialized maintenance to perform detailed inspections to ward off catastrophic failure scenarios. We have been able to reduce inventory while still feeling confident we will have the parts on hand for scheduled maintenance once the inspection process reveals the useful life of the component to be nearly expired.

We have over two centuries of maintenance experience amoungst electricians and millwrights and I feel extremely lucky to have inherited the talent we have in this shop. Our task is now to get that knowledge documented and available to the younger staff members and to get the veterans utilizing lean maintenance techniques to determine Root Cause (RCA) during the repair process of failed machinery. We have already implemented several action items that have eliminated root cause of failures and moved some dollars right to the bottom line. The largest hurdle here is that we have had virtually no early machine management, and some of the equipment has been around a while.

Although we have many challenges to face and an uncertain economic future we are dedicated and unwavering in our quest for excellence and continuous improvement. After all, the mother of invention is necessity, and our necessity is to do more with less through increased efficiencies.

Billy Newman, Production Manager for Spokane Steel Foundry states, "The opportunity to achieve success is great with Spokane Industries Maintenance Department and I believe the individuals within the maintenance department are up to the challenge. We have great leadership at the shift level and the momentum is in our favor. In my opinion we are poised at this point to attack the heavy hitters, and really start to benefit our internal customers."

The road is long, but with facilitation from management, and support at the operator level we can make Predictive Maintenance a reality, and help Spokane Industries continue as a world class supplier of steel and iron castings.

Planning for changing needs

By Jane Courtney

The demands of a single family can vary enormously over a number of years. Where they are likely to be in the same home for sonic time it is important that the garden plan is flexible enough to reflect these changing needs. A young couple might use the garden mainly for sunbathing or entertaining and would want a simple layout which is easy to look after.

The topsoil is the essential layer for plant growth. Its texture and composition generally depend upon the parent rock from which it has very gradually been formed, by the interaction of water, climate and vegetation. Weathering agents such as frost, rain and sun break the rock down over thousands of years to form the basic mineral structure of the soil. Plants grow on the rock debris and myriads of microorganisms work on the dead roots and fallen leaves to decay them, producing the essential organic constituent of the topsoil, known as humus.

As children leave home the garden area should become quieter and parents should have more time to spend in it. They may concentrate more on the plants themselves, possibly with special interests developing such as roses or a greenhouse. However, what can be looked after with ease at fifty becomes something of a chore at seventy.

When an elaborate layout becomes complicated for eventual maintenance will be necessary to reduce the need intensive gardening, preferably in a which retains the original effect.

In the family life cycle of a garden use can grow and expand and then sl reduce its scope again. The demands may vary from, at one extreme, provide a tranquil retreat after a noisy day wor in town to creating the need for phys exercise in otherwise sedentary lives.

Between topsoil and parent bed rock there may be many layers of stone and gravel, but the layer immediately beneath the topsoil is generally the subsoil. Its depth varies according to the hardness of the underlying rock and the amount of erosion it has suffered. The colour and texture of subsoil are usually different from those of the topsoil because it is in a transitional stage, without humus or organic material. For this reason, it is not a growing medium.

As Many Loan Modification Scams As Octo-Mom Has Babies?

By Bob Boog

The other night, it was my turn to cook dinner so naturally I did a Google search for dinner recipes. After all, dads like me need a little help to bring the gang to the table and ensure that they'll stay there! Sometimes when it comes to loan modifications, most folks will take the word of the foreclosure helper -- not realizing that there are as many varieties of scams as quick pasta dinner recipes on the Internet! Today we'll discuss just three loose loan modification scam categorizes:

Phantom Helper:

The scam artist pledges to the homeowner that for a fee, he will be able to cut the owners payments by a third. Then after taking the owners money, the scammer vanishes like a waiter in an expensive restaurant - never to be seen or heard from again.

The Savior Trick:

This scam involves a con artist who offers some sort of plan or scheme to get the homeowner out of his or her predicament. One common example is the rent-to-buy scheme where the scam artist promises to take title to the property, cure the default, and rent the property back to the homeowners until they get back on their feet again and buy back the property. What in fact happens is that the scam artist reneges on these promises by, for example, not curing the default, not honoring the rent-back agreement, or selling the property to an unsuspecting buyer.

Bait-and-Switch:

The homeowner is saved from his dilemma by the generous helper who offers to bail him out. Perhaps the helper promises to take title to the property, modify the loan, and then lease the property back to the homeowner until he is able to purchase the property. Usually the scammer ends up not honoring the agreement, and does the old switcheroo. Meaning that because he is the owner, he can legally kick out the owner. Often the helper rents the property until it is foreclosed upon and keeps all the rent receipts for himself.

In addition to the above categories, there are many other types of foreclosure-related scams, including forgeries, theft, identity theft, property flipping scams, loan fraud, predatory lending practices, pyramid schemes, ponzi schemes, bankruptcy fraud, landlord-tenant fraud, short sale consulting fraud, and bank-owned property or REO fraud.

Therefore, if a helper asks for payment only in the form of cash, cashiers check or wire transfer " beware. If a helper asks you to transfer title or your interest in the property-- beware; if a helper makes an guaranteed promise to stop foreclosure or other assurances beware.

These are just some of the ways that real estate agents and their clients can distinguish between legitimate and illegal enterprises. And just as OctoMom would be wary of getting advice to have more children, when it comes to foreclosures, short sales and loan modifications, you should be extra cautious with people offering their services to help you too
