We here at the Unique Article Wizard are always looking to update our service to make the Wizard the best that we can. And the way to do this is by listening to our valued clients for their suggestions on how to make the interface more user friendly.
Therefore over the last few months we have heard what many of you have been asking for and have done a total re-write of many of the Wizard interfaces:
a. Additions to the FAQ page and New Tool Tips at various other places makes it easier to find answers to the most common questions and allows you to focus your valuable time on sending out articles rather than waiting for answers from the helpdesk.
b. Now you can use as many different titles for your article as you want. And, if you want, you can even randomize various author names.
c. Additional error trapping added on both the Step-by-Step and One-Step Wizards which will catch many of the common errors new users may make.
d. Ability to use word and phrase spinning syntax within your title, article, AND resource boxes - allowing for almost infinite permutations of your article while still making sure it is human-written and human-readable.
e. Ability to add basic HTML into the article so that you can format it to look nicer.
f. Complete re-working of the One-Step Wizard. As a new user you should definitely start by using the Step-by-Step Wizard which will guide you through each step of the way towards creating a powerful article. But once you are familiar with the process you will almost certainly want to switch to the One-Step as it is much faster!
g. The wizard will remember the keywords and resource boxes you used for your last submission for the project you are working on - this saves even more time as you can just re-import them.
On a continual basis we will be adding further requested functionality to the Wizard as well.
Some things take longer to implement than others as all changes have to be tested to make sure they don't mess up the program in other ways, but have faith, if it will help make the Wizard better, we'll be working on them.
Don't worry - at this point much of this probably sounds like gobbledegook! Just go step by step through the tutorial and then the Step-by-Step Wizard, and all will become clear!
Next thing of note. As you know, article submission is a two way street - authors and marketers such as yourselves need your articles to be published, and directories looking for well-written suitable content need those articles.
Therefore we have a list of Do's and Don'ts put together by ever-helpful directory owners that will help get your articles published successfully. Pretty simple stuff, but also very important points as well.
1. Don't use all capital letters in the title. Capitalize the first letter of each word only.
2. Be careful about putting links in the text of the article (some sites will accept this - most won't).
3. Maximum of 2 links in the Author's Resource Box. (and while we are on the subject or resource boxes - make them as professional as the article - include your signature/name and point the links to a suitable landing page so people who do click on the link don't wonder how they got to some strange site that has nothing to do with what they were reading)
4. Don't bold the links in the resource box.
5. Don't use all caps in your link(s).
6. Try to find a happy medium for the length of the article. 400 - 750 words is usually safe.
7. Make sure your articles are formatted - Use proper spacing between paragraphs. (this is actually done by the Wizard in case you don't!)
8. Submit your articles to the proper categories.
9. Spell check your article before submitting.
10. Spell check your article before submitting.
11. Spell check your article before submitting.
12. Spell check... you get the idea! (for Internet Explorer users, the best free tool for this is called ieSpell; and for Firefox users it is a built-in feature)
One final note that we feel is very important as a few of our clients have mentioned. The Unique Article Wizard is a web-based tool which is subject to the same rules as sites such as Paypal, Amazon and any other database driven applications. Timeouts do happen (even though the Wizard is set at 3+ hours), ISP hiccups do occur and sometimes we just plain forget to save our work. So please be sure to complete the paragraph set you are working on and advance the sequence so the Wizard can autosave your work. By doing this you won't lose any of your hard earned efforts.
