Three Reasons for Online Promotion

By Joe Then

Let's face it, we are in the digital age, or the age of the Internet. More and more brick-and-mortar businesses are getting to see the power of the Internet and how this media can raise their business to a new level, just by having a good online presence. Most people call it Internet Marketing, it is basically advertising in digital media. Internet Marketing also sometimes called Online Marketing or Web Marketing.

Businesses today have tried many forms of advertising media: Print, Radio, TV, etc. However, it is surprising that a number of businesses are not even considering Internet as a another form of advertisement. Maybe they are not familiar with the Internet, which explains why they are reluctance. However, if done properly, they can expose themselves to a new world of business opportunity.

There are many benefits in advertising online:

1) Internet Marketing allows instant reach to the targeted audience. Almost everyone has an email address and businesses can reach their clients always instantly without using traditional and cost methods like mailing.

2) Web Promotion is much lower in cost. Do you know that a simple 10 seconds TV ads can cost you at least $10,000? Web Promotion, on the other hand, is much cheaper. A high-end SEO package will cost you $5000 to $6000 and the the results stays for many months, which is something that TV ads cannot do.

3) Internet Marketing allows interaction. TV, print and radio media are one-way communication tools because there is very little control on the feedback. Internet Marketing, however, allows you to interact with your targeted clients in the form of survey or even games.

4) Web Marketing can be measured. Believe me, you can measure the return-on-investment for investment made on Internet advertising. As Internet Marketing is digital in nature, there are tons of statistic and reporting tools available for businesses.

Based on the above, it is not hard to see why advertising online is the best solution. What businesses need is getting the right people to do the right job.
