The four animal heroes, Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe, and Gloria the Hippo are ready to go back to the the Central Park Zoo in NY, putting an end to thier incredible adventure. Instead, with the Penguins leading them astray, they will wind up going to their true homeland, Africa.
PINEAPPLE EXPRESS: Heavy pot smoker Dale Denton unfortunately has just viewed a crooked cop, and the local drug king pin, kill someone. He was spotted witnessing the murder. Knowing they've seen him, he is so shaken he throws down his joint, a rare blend namend pineapple express, and takes off. The pot is so unique, that the bad guys can track it. The game is on, the bad guys are hunting, and Dale and dealer Saul are now running for their lives.
HAMLET 2: Failed actor Mr. Marshz now finds himself teaching theater classes at the high school to students who just don't care. The school loses a building due to destruction, so the school administation feels that the theater curriculum will get the axe. With a challenge now in front of him, he sets out to save the theater classes by producing Hamlet 2, an original interpretation of the Shakespeare classic, which he creates.
GET SMART: Agent 86, aka Maxwell Smart is back, can you believe it? Would you believe... ? The classic James Bond spy spoof, the shoe phone, and the cone of silence. It is is a fun look back at the world of KAOS and CONTROL.
TROPIC THUNDER: Filled with great actors the genre of the film is a spoof on vietnam war movies. In order to inspire his underachieving super stars to see the movie be a success, the seemingly bold director into the wild, and leaves them on thier own. His plan is to frightnen them into producing a war classic, that will be recorded on hidden cameras. When the director dies unexpectadly by stepping on a real land mine, the spoiled actors are on their own, and they start acting, thinking it's a big set, but things are getting very, very real. Stars include Ben Stiller, Robert Downey Jr., and Tom Cruise.
STEP BROTHERS: When two child like older men, who each live with their single parents, are going to share a room because their parents marry, big problems loom. With Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly playing the parts, and this seems to be a great recipe for a funny movie. This seems like a must see for a good time this year.
FORGETTING SAHRAH MARSHALL: Ater suffering an undesired break up with his girlfriend Sarah, a television actor, Peter finally plans to go on a trip to Hawaii to get past the break up. As one might expect, upon checking into the resort, he looks up and sees Sarah and her new lover, who's bigger than life. The stage is set for a fun filled romantic comedy.
ROLE MODELS: Danny and Wheeler, who sell energy drinks, are looking at jail time after destroying the company vehicle while binging. The only way to avoid being locked up is to work in community service for 150 hours. They are assigned to work as mentors with difficult children in a big brother type situation. The pieces are all in place for this to be very funny.
