I have been playing the piano for just over a decade now. I had a piano before that but I would not consider what I was doing piano playing. I used to tap two notes on the piano, kind or a crazy scientist finger dance and thought I was hot stuff.
I used to be a stagnant piano player to say the least. There wasn't any inspiration, I was not really learning anything and I became awfully bored with everything.
There wasn't any inspiration, I was not actually learning anything and I became extremely bored with everything. Though I could learn the entire sight reading thing, I wanted (no I mean needed) some freedom to do what I would have liked to do.
Following that I actually did not wish to have anything to do with any sort of piano, keyboard, or whatever. I just failed to feel a bit like having the troublesome task of trying to work out the way the white and black keys related to my fingers.
I put my keyboard away for years never to be played again ( or so I presumed ). One summer vacation I took a trip to Florida. I didn't find an overwhelming piano player who had never been in a position to read music nor did he know what the notes on a piano where.
One summer holiday I took a visit to Florida. I didn't find an awesome piano player who had not been able to read music nor did he know what the notes on a piano where. Now when I'm saying awe-inspiring piano player I do not mean just someone that can play just about any song competently.
After seeing this fellow who was so wealthy on the piano who could not read any music whatsoever, I was really stirred to take a 2nd look the piano I had thrown in the back of the closet year back. I took it out, dusted it off and commenced to work out the way to play the piano.
I took it out, dusted it off and commenced to work out the way to play the piano. I started taking a look at ways to play the piano by ear. This could be an amazing starting place while playing the piano regardless of what most of us think.
This technique is fun and it'll fantastically raise your understanding of the piano. Don't give up playing the piano and if you aren't playing now, there's no better time than the present to start to learn to play the piano.
